Saurik enables Cydia purchases on jailbroken iOS 10.3.x devices

On Saturday, Saurik flipped the switch to create purchases through Cydia on jailbroken iOS 10.3.x devices.

The change lets anyone jailbroken by the use of sticktron\’s G0blin tool to get paid jailbreak tweaks and themes from the Cydia Store. Before today, that was only possible on jailbroken devices running iOS 10.2 and earlier with Yalu.

Saurik generally enables purchases on newly-jailbroken firmware once it\’s proven stable enough. Regardless, it\’s possible to now officially look at the G0blin jailbreak \’as stable as it gets\’ in their current form.

Notably, you cannot assume all jailbreak tweaks and extensions have already been updated with support for iOS 10.3.x, very first something to remember before breaking out of wallet to download mods on the device. As Sticktron adds, jailbreakers on iOS 10.3.x should give developers a longer period to update their packages:

As many would agree, it is just a help the proper direction for that jailbreak community. Then again, nearly everyone is still anticipating Saurik\’s official iOS 11 updates equally for Cydia and Mobile Substrate. There isn\’t any official ETA on their behalf at this moment soon enough.

If you\’ve jailbroken your iOS 10.3.x device(s) with G0blin, think you\’re pleased to see Cydia cutting the tape for purchases? Portion of content section below.
